ATTN: PHOTO EDITORS AND TV CREWS MEDIA ALERT:
Photo Opportunity at the Federal Register

The National Archives Office of the Federal Register will make available for filming Certificates of Ascertainment relating to the 2000 Presidential election. The Certificates of Ascertainment include the listing of electors who will vote on December 18.

This will be a one-time opportunity to film the original certificates from the states of Idaho, Louisiana, and Florida, and any other states received by that time. The date and time is dependent on when the Federal Register receives the Certificate from the state of Florida. The National Archives will give the media two hours advance notice. The Federal Register is located at 800 N. Capitol Street, NW, Washington, DC, Suite 700.
