Join the Archivist of the United States Allen Weinstein in a panel discussion for "Securing Our National Heritage"

Spotlight on national and local efforts to secure historical documents and museum artifacts.

WHAT:
Thefts, alienation and replevin of historical documents and artifacts are the topics of discussion by a panel of national and local experts, including Archivist of the United States Allen Weinstein; Jon Bevilacqua, Assistant District Attorney, Nassau County; and Johanna Loonie, Special Agent, New York Field Office, FBI. They will spotlight recent criminal cases, focus on efforts to raise public awareness of these crimes and highlight new initiatives and policies developed to make our nation’s history more secure.

Sponsored by the National Archives and Records Administration in partnership with the Museum, Library and Cultural Properties Facility Group of Greater New York City.
