Reagan And Bush Libraries To Open Additional Records Relating to Samuel Alito

WHAT: The Ronald Reagan Library is releasing an additional 83 pages of Reagan Presidential records after a search for materials related to Judge Samuel Alito. 73 pages will be opened in whole and 10 pages are opened in part. Additionally, two pages have been restricted in whole.
The George Bush Library is releasing an additional 63 pages of Bush Presidential records, 60 of which will be opened in whole and 3 in part. Also being released is 22 pages of Quayle Vice Presidential records.
The restricted material is closed under exemption (b)(6) of the FOIA --clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy, including restrictions for social security numbers and personal financial information.
WHERE: These records will be available through the National Archives website at www.archives.gov. The Reagan Presidential records also will be available at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California and on its website at http://www.reagan.utexas.edu. The Bush Presidential records and the Quayle Vice Presidential records will be available at the George Bush Library in College Station, Texas and on its website at http://bushlibrary.tamu.edu/research/alito_documents.html .
WHEN: The Bush Presidential records and the Quayle Vice Presidential records will be available online at 12:10 PM EST. The Reagan Presidential records will be available online at 2 PM EST.
