Issues Fifth Volume of George W. Bush Public Papers, 2003

Washington, DC…Archivist of the United States Allen Weinstein announced today that the fifth volume of the Public Papers of President George W. Bush, 2003 is now available for sale. The 860-page hardcover volume was compiled by the Office of the Federal Register, an agency of the National Archives and Records Administration.

The book covers the period January 1 to June 30, 2003. It contains the text of public speeches, news conferences, messages and statements, and communications to Congress. All materials are indexed by subject and name and listed according to document category. Four appendices are included, which provide supplementary materials such as the President's public schedule, nominations submitted to the Senate, and lists of other White House releases and documents published in the Federal Register.

This volume is available for $66.00 (Stock No. 069-000-00159-9) from the Superintendent of Documents, Government Printing Office (GPO). All orders must be accompanied by remittance (check, money order, GPO Deposit Account, VISA, or Master Card) and mailed to the Superintendent of Documents, Government Printing Office, P.O. Box 371954, Pittsburgh, PA 15250-7954.
