National Archives Clinton Library to Open Additional Kagan Materials

Washington, DC…On Friday, June 11, 2010, the Clinton Library will make available an additional 41,759 pages of materials relating to Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan. The records will be posted on their web site: www.clintonlibrary.gov at 1 PM EDT.
The opening includes materials primarily related to Kagan’s tenure in the White House Counsel's Office. Other files concern her nomination to the DC Circuit Court, White House Office of Records Management Subject Files concerning her work with both DPC and the White House Counsel’s Office, and a few miscellaneous folders identified as relating to Kagan.
The Clinton Presidential Library is one of 13 Presidential libraries administered by the National Archives.
The Clinton Library’s next release will include Kagan’s e-mail correspondence.
