National Archives Press Conference in Dallas to Announce Discovery of Objects Documenting Nazi Art Theft

WHAT: A press conference to announce and unveil newly discovered material related to art works stolen by Hitler and the Nazis during World War II. This material, which was in private hands, will be donated to the National Archives by the Monuments Men Foundation for the Preservation of Art, a not-for-profit organization that received the 2007 National Humanities Medal. Archivist David S. Ferriero has hailed this as “a significant discovery which will allow for a more complete view of Hitler’s premeditated theft of art and other cultural treasures.”
The press will have the opportunity to film/photograph the discovery after the remarks and unveiling.
