The National Archives presents a screening of the new documentary “Lincoln’s Greatest Speech: The Second Inaugural” on Monday, May 9, at 7 p.m. Register online to attend in person, or watch a live stream on the National Archives YouTube channel .
The free screening will take place in the William G. McGowan Theater at the National Archives Building in Washington, DC. Use the Special Events Entrance, located at Constitution Ave. and 7th Street, NW. Metro accessible on Yellow or Green lines, Archives/Navy Memorial station.
Lincoln’s Greatest Speech: The Second Inaugural
Based on the best-selling book. The film features actor Richard Dreyfuss giving a dramatic reading of the speech, followed by historical analysis. Filmmaker Ken Kebow and author Ronald C. White, Jr., will discuss the film and answer audience questions after the screening. Following the program, White will sign copies of his books, Lincoln's Greatest Speech: The Second Inaugural and A. Lincoln: A Biography.
