The National Archives Hosts An Evening With the Mount Rushmore Presidents

On Thursday, February 16, at 7 p.m., the National Archives presents an exciting program featuring the Presidents whose images were carved into the Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota. The program is free and open to the public. Registration is filling up fast online, reserve a seat.Watch the program live stream on the National Archives YouTube channel.

How often do we have the opportunity to experience four Presidents engaged in discussion?  Join us for a lively, interactive program featuring the Presidents whose images were carved into Mount Rushmore.  Lincoln scholar Harold Holzer will moderate a panel featuring President George Washington (portrayed by Ron Carnegie), President Thomas Jefferson (portrayed by Bill Barker), President Abraham Lincoln (portrayed by George Buss), and President Theodore Roosevelt (portrayed by Joe Wiegand).  Presented in partnership with the Lincoln Group of the District of Columbia.

The program will be held in the William G. McGowan Theater of the National Archives Museum in Washington, DC.  Attendees should use the Special Events entrance on Constitution Avenue at 7th Street, NW.  Metro accessible on the Yellow and Green lines, Archives/Navy Memorial/Penn Quarter station. 

For attendees without reservations, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The Theater doors will open 45 minutes prior to the start of the program. Late seating will not be permitted 20 minutes after the program begins.
