March 25 Family Day at the National Archives Celebrates Cherry Blossoms

In celebration of the 2023 National Cherry Blossom Festival, the National Archives will host a special Family Day celebrating cherry blossoms on Saturday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  

This program is free and open to the public and will be held in the Boeing Learning Center of the National Archives Museum in Washington, DC. Attendees should use the Special Events entrance on Constitution Avenue at 7th Street, NW. This program is Metro accessible on the Green line, Archives/Navy Memorial/Penn Quarter station. 

Cherry Blossom Family Day

Saturday, March 25, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET

Enjoy hands-on activities and celebrate the cherry blossoms with the National Archives and the Japan Information and Culture Center! Learn more about this gift from Japan to the United States and about other fun ways nations express their friendship, cooperation, and goodwill. Professional calligraphy artist Kazuko Carper will lead a demonstration at 1 p.m.
