MEMORANDUM TO FEDERAL AGENCY RECORDS OFFICERS: Federal Records Management Annual Reporting Extended to April 15, 2020

In consideration of the attention federal agencies are giving to the policies and activities needed to address the urgent concerns of COVID-19, NARA is proactively extending the deadline for this year's annual reporting by 30 days. The new deadline for all reporting will be April 15, 2020. We will continue to monitor the rapidly changing environment and will re-evaluate the revised due date as necessary.

Thank you to all who have submitted their Federal Records Management Annual Reports for the 2019 reporting period. As a reminder this includes the Records Management Self-Assessment (RMSA); Federal Electronic Records and Email Management report; and the annual report of the Senior Agency Official for Records Management.
