MEMORANDUM TO FEDERAL AGENCY RECORDS OFFICERS: Federal Records Management Annual Reporting Extended to May 15, 2020

In consideration of the attention federal agencies are giving to the policies and activities needed to address the continuing urgent concerns of COVID-19, NARA is extending the deadline for this year's annual reporting to May 15, 2020.

Thank you to all who have submitted their Federal Records Management Annual Reports for the 2019 reporting period. As a reminder this includes the Records Management Self-Assessment (RMSA); Federal Electronic Records and Email Management report; and the annual report of the Senior Agency Official for Records Management.

This week, two new survey links were sent from the survey tool to those officially designated to respond but have not yet been able to submit the RMSA and/or the Federal Electronic Records and Email Management report. If anyone has difficulty with these links, please contact rmselfassessment@nara.gov immediately.
