Eight additions to the John F. Kennedy Tributes Collection and four additions to the Miscellaneous Manuscripts Collection. Included in the Miscellaneous Manuscripts Collection is a postcard sent to Nancy Tuckerman containing handwritten messages from John and Jacqueline Kennedy while on their honeymoon.
The library accessioned oral history interviews with 30 people, including:
- Arthur J. Goldberg, Secretary of Labor and Supreme Court Justice
- R. Sargent Shriver, brother-in-law of President Kennedy
- 28 Returned Peace Corps Volunteers
The library accessioned 299 photograph items, 47 hours of audio recordings, and 100 feet of film.
