Accretions of personal papers to the Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Collection.

Eight additions to the John F. Kennedy Tributes Collection and four additions to the Miscellaneous Manuscripts Collection. Included in the Miscellaneous Manuscripts Collection is a postcard sent to Nancy Tuckerman containing handwritten messages from John and Jacqueline Kennedy while on their honeymoon.

The library accessioned oral history interviews with 30 people, including:

  • Arthur J. Goldberg, Secretary of Labor and Supreme Court Justice
  • R. Sargent Shriver, brother-in-law of President Kennedy
  • 28 Returned Peace Corps Volunteers

The library accessioned 299 photograph items, 47 hours of audio recordings, and 100 feet of film.
