Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), Enrollee Records

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) provided employment and vocational training for unemployed youths and, to a lesser extent, for war veterans and Native Americans, through conservation and natural resources development work, and beginning in May 1940, defense work on military reservations and forest protection.

To search the Enrollee files on the Catalog, find the appropriate Reel Number from the below listings.  On the Catalog entry for Individual Records (Enrollees), enter "Reel X" where X is the reel to be searched.

Other government agencies were connected with the CCC.  If unable to locate an employee on the Catalog, they may have a folder with another agency.  Additionally, many Enrollees have Medical and Clinical records which have not been digitized yet.  To request further searches, complete and return the CCC Order Form.
