Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with Us!

Join the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum this Independence Day as we celebrate our nation’s Semiquincentennial with a full day of history, heritage, and civic pride!

 

Free Museum Admission All Day
To mark this historic anniversary, we are pleased to offer FREE museum admission to all visitors throughout the day on July 4. It is the perfect opportunity for families and friends to explore the legacy of Dwight D. Eisenhower and the foundation of American democracy.
[Note: tickets for boyhood home tours are not included and must be scheduled at time of purchase.]

 

Final Weekend: "Opening the Vault"
This is your final weekend to experience the landmark exhibit, "Opening the Vault at the Presidential Libraries," which closes on July 5. Don't miss this rare chance to see original, history-making documents straight from the National Archives, including:

  • The Louisiana Purchase
  • The Kansas-Nebraska Act
  • Brown v. Board of Education
  • The Korean War Armistice Agreement

 

Now Open: "Ike’s Work"
While you're here, be sure to visit our newest temporary exhibit, "Ike's Work," which opened July 1. This exhibit pays tribute to President Eisenhower’s legacy, showcasing letters from everyday citizens and reflecting on the impact of citizen engagement in our democracy.
