Founding Fathers Advisory Committee (FFAC)

The Founding Fathers Advisory Committee serves as a deliberative body to advise the Archivist of the United States on the progress of the Founding Fathers editorial projects funded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC), a part of the National Archives. Its purview includes, but is not limited to, advising and making recommendations to the Archivist on issues related to the goals and completion of the projects, their funding sources, and their performance and productivity.

Founding Fathers Committee Meeting

The most recent meeting of the Founding Fathers Advisory was held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the National Archives. The Committee discussed the progress of the Founding Fathers editorial projects funded by the NHPRC, the Founders Online Initiative being undertaken through two cooperative agreements between NARA and the University of Virginia, and the workflows and performance goals and targets of the Founding Fathers editorial projects.
