Comparison of Drying Methods

In almost all instances, coated paper sheets left in direct contact with one another during the drying process adhered.  Once an item has blocked, it seldom can be separated without damage.

Only coated papers dried by vacuum freeze-drying processes did not adhere, even though pages were in direct contact with one another during the drying process.
