Memorandum to Federal Records Management Contacts: Webinar on NARA Regulations with Digitization Standards for Permanent Records
Our office will be hosting a webinar to walk-through NARA’s regulations with digitization standards for permanent records on June 7, 2023, from 1:30-3:00 pm (Eastern).

The regulations with digitization standards for permanent records is 36 CFR 1236, Subpart E. NARA published the regulations in the Federal Register on May 4th. The regulations will go into effect on June 5, 2023.
The webinar is intended for federal records managers who support digitization efforts in their agencies. NARA staff will walk through the new regulations to help you gain familiarity with the guidance.
We plan to record the presentation and make it available on our website for those who cannot attend.
