MEMORANDUM TO FEDERAL AGENCY CONTACTS: Updated General Records Schedule (GRS) Subject Index 

We are pleased to announce the release of a new subject index for the General Records Schedules (GRS).  This is the first index revision since GRS Transmittal 22 was released in 2009. The index can be found on the  GRS website here.

The subject index is a work in progress.  As new material is added to the GRS in the future, the subject index will be expanded accordingly.  We strive to improve access to the GRS and welcome your suggestions or comments. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions related to the subject index, please email GRS_Team@nara.gov.
