MEMORANDUM TO FEDERAL AGENCY CONTACTS: Upcoming GRS Feedback Sessions
NARA’s General Records Schedule (GRS) Team is planning to hold feedback sessions with agency records management programs this Spring.
As the GRS Update Project comes to an end this December, we are actively planning the next phase of the GRS or “GRS version 3.0.” We invite agencies to collaborate with us on shaping this new GRS by answering questions and providing feedback. The expected time commitment is anticipated to be no more than 2 hours.
GRS Team members will hold the meetings by phone. Each session will be devoted to a single agency. Topics will address the following areas: expectations and current use of the GRS, general questions about agencies' RM programs, and future challenges/objectives being faced by agencies.
