Bulk Downloads of World War II Draft Cards

Selections of digitized World War II Draft Cards are available as bulk downloads. The downloadable zip files containing image files are linked below, along with CSV files containing metadata for each draft card (where available). 

Draft cards were created and maintained by the Selective Service System Headquarters within each state and territory. The cards contain the registrant's serial number, the name of each registrant, his residence, mailing address, phone number, birth date, birth place, name of employer, address of employment, the registrant's height, weight, race, hair color, eye color, distinguishing marks, the registrant's signature, and the name and address of a person who would always know the registrant's address. The cards are arranged alphabetically by last name of the registrant. Some of the groupings listed were split into multiple files because of their large size.
