Annual Employee Survey
Since 2007, Federal agencies are required by law to conduct an Annual Employee Survey (AES). The survey includes a series of questions prescribed in regulation and is designed to address overall employee satisfaction as well as leadership and management practices that contribute to an agency's performance. Starting in 2010, OPM has administered the Employee Viewpoint Survey (EVS) on an annual basis. In compliance with OPM requirements, NARA utilizes the EVS as its AES.
