Hours

The research room at the National Archives in Denver is open by appointment only, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. 

Please email denver.archives@nara.gov for more information or to request a research room appointment. 

Directions

If coming from Denver, go north on I-25 and take exit 229 for Lafayette/Brighton. At the stop light on the top of the exit ramp, turn left onto Highway 7, cross over I-25, and then take the first right onto Huron street about 1/8 of a mile from the interstate. If you pass Children's Hospital, which is also on Highway 7, you've gone too far.

Directions are the same if coming from the north, but you will turn right onto Highway 7 after getting off I-25 at exit 229.

Parking

Free parking is available in the lot at the front of the facility. There is no security check to enter the parking lot. 

Food

There are multiple dining options one mile away at the Larkridge Shopping Center on Highway 7 to the east of I-25. A vehicle is recommended as there are no sidewalks between our facility and Larkridge.

Restaurants include: Buffalo Wild Wings, Subway, Starbucks, Good Times Burgers and Frozen Custard, La Fogata (Mexican food), Chick-fil-A, Chili's Grill and Bar, Village Inn, Gunther Toody's, and Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que.

Lodging

The closest hotels to our facility are about four miles south down I-25, they are the Courtyard by Marriott Denver North/WestminsterCandlewood Suites Denver North - Thornton, and Hilton Garden Inn Denver/Thornton. There are many more lodging options within easy driving distance located in Broomfield, Westminster, Northglenn, and Thornton. 

Transportation

There is currently no public transportation to our facility, you will need to bring a vehicle or arrange for alternate transportation.
