Semiannual Reports to Congress
The Semiannual Report to Congress summarizes the activities and accomplishments of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Office of Inspector General (OIG). A summary of NARA's top challenges is provided under the section titled "Top Ten Management Challenges."
The Inspector General is required by the Inspector General Act of 1978, as amended, to submit a formal report to the Congress every six months.
Please contact us if you require an older report.
*NOTICE: From time to time reports must be posted on this website before they can be made fully accessible (i.e. 508 compliant) due to statutory posting deadlines. Compliant reports are posted as soon as they are available. If you need a report which has not yet been made accessible, or have any questions, please contact the counsel to the Inspector General, John Simms, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
