Memorandum to Senior Agency Officials for Records Management: 2025 Senior Agency Official for Records Management (SAORM) Annual Report

Today marks the beginning of the Federal Agency Records Management Annual Reporting period for CY 2025. The template for the 2025 Senior Agency Official for Records Management (SAORM) Annual Report can be found on our website. 

As in previous years, your agency is required to complete the SAORM Annual Report. This report gathers data on agencies’ continued transition to electronic recordkeeping and other records management goals and initiatives. 

Please send the completed report to us at rmselfassessment@nara.gov by close of business on May 15, 2026.
