Memorandum to Federal Records Management Contacts: ERA 2.0 Scheduling Data Entry Tool

We have a new tool available to help agencies collect schedule information for entry into ERA 2.0. Users notified us of a problem with ERA when they couldn’t enter all information about an item at one time. This tool will make it easier for agencies to know they have all the information they need before going into ERA.

The tool is a multi-tab spreadsheet with spaces to enter information for all fields in ERA. There is a tab for general information, temporary item information, and permanent item information. Users can duplicate the item tabs to create multiple items. You will have to cut and paste the information into the appropriate fields in ERA. There is no way to upload the data from the spreadsheet into ERA. The spreadsheet includes instructions.
