Memorandum to Federal Records Management Contacts: Draft General Records Schedules for Agency Review - Revisions to Five Schedules

NARA invites federal agencies to comment on the following draft General Records Schedules (GRS):

• GRS 2.2, Employee Management Records
• GRS 2.8, Employee Ethics Records
• GRS 4.5, Digitizing Records
• GRS 4.6, Insider Threat Program Records
• GRS 6.8, Temporary Commissions, Committees, and Boards Records

These revisions reflect ongoing work to make the GRS more machine-implementable. GRS review packages are posted on our website. Agencies can download the review package and comment form from the site. Send comment forms to GRS_Team@nara.gov by June 6, 2025.
