Memorandum to Federal Records Management Contacts: File Format Guidance for Case Files

I am pleased to announce that NARA has updated Appendix A: Table of File Formats of NARA Bulletin 2014-04, Format Guidance for the Transfer of Permanent Electronic Records. 

We have added Case Files as a media type and moved the existing guidance for PDF Collections into the new Case Files media type. PDF Collections was previously listed independently as a file format, with guidance about using the format to manage case files.
