Classification 109: Foreign Political Matters

This classification was established during World War II for information it received about political matters in various foreign countries. In addition to general political information, these records contain information relating to investigations concerning individuals who were potential political leaders of other countries, leaders of foreign revolutionary groups and organizations operating in the United States or abroad, and events bearing on the Bureau's responsibilities abroad.
