December 11, 2018, Research Room Closure in the morning

The archival research/public access areas at the National Archives in Washington, DC (Archives I) will be closed to the public on the morning of Tuesday, December 11, 2018, from 8:45 to 11:00 a.m. Our staff is participating in a safety/security exercise. Regular services will resume at 11:00 a.m.

Please note that the Research Rooms at the National Archives at College Park, Archives II (College Park, Maryland) will remain open for normal hours. Check your local research facility location for normal hours at www.archives.gov/locations.

Online access to National Archives and Records Administration holdings will remain available twenty-four hours a day via www.archives.gov.
