Senior Agency Officials for Records Management
Senior Agency Officials for Records Management are senior officials who have direct responsibility for ensuring the department or agency complies with all applicable records management statutes, regulations, NARA policy, and the requirements of the Managing Government Records Directive (M-12-18). The Directive requires agencies to annually reaffirm to NARA the status of their SAORM.
