Indexing on Demand
The Indexing on Demand (IOD) program allows the public to select specific entries that the National Declassification Center (NDC) should prioritize for release. It began in August 2015, after discussions between NARA and several Open Government groups.
The IOD program allows researchers to request priority processing for records that have completed quality assurance review and are available for indexing and final withhold processing.

Researchers are welcome to contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to open an IOD request. Once we receive a request, we will survey the records to ensure that the entry is eligible to be worked as an IOD project.
