How Should the United States Confront Soviet Communist Expansionism?

Soviet military aggression and the subsequent spread of Communism is the greatest threat to the security of the nation. The current costs of fighting Communism are skyrocketing, presenting a significant threat to the nation’s economic well- being. President Eisenhower is concerned that the costs are not sustainable over the long term but he believes that the spread of Communism must be stopped.
