Enlisted Indian Scouts Additional Records

In addition to the Enlistment Papers, Registers of Enlistment, and Carded Medical Records, researchers can locate other documents about enlisted Indian scouts at many National Archives facilities nationwide. These records can include correspondence, payrolls, muster rolls, and pension records created and maintained by individual agencies under the Department of the Interior.
