Resolutions of the Massachusetts House of Representatives Endorsing the March on Washington

Many Americans supported the March and believed that such demonstrations were necessary to draw attention to problems and move the conscience of the nation. Citizens, church groups, labor unions, and even state legislative bodies like the Massachusetts House of Representatives voiced their opinions to Congress.
