This series consists of photographs documenting economic recovery in Western Europe following World War II. Countries represented include Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Trieste, Turkey, the United Kingdom, France, and Yugoslavia. The pictures document all phases of economic recovery from 1948 to 1968, with the majority depicting events before 1956.The finding aid for the series is available in the Still Pictures Research Room.
