Joshua Tauberer

Joshua Tauberer is a civic hacker and entrepreneur. GovTrack.us, which he launched in 2004, helps millions of individuals track and understand the activities of the U.S. Congress, and it was the first website to create open data for Congress. He is also a co-founder of if.then.fund, a political crowdfunding tool. He is a member of the DC government's open government advisory group, author of Open Government Data: The Book, and co-organizer of the yearly Open Data Day DC conference. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
