What: The Office of Government Information Services (OGIS) is  partnering with our  colleagues at the Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO) and the National Declassification Center (NDC) to bring you a program on using the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to request records from Intelligence Community agencies.  Join us to hear from representatives from ISOO, the NDC, and several Intelligence Community agencies.  National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Chief Operating Officer William J. Bosanko will moderate the panel. Anticipated panelists will include representatives from:

Registration Information for those Attending the Event in Person: Due to building access restrictions, you must register via Eventbrite to attend the meeting in person by midnight EST March 10, 2020. Attendees must enter through the building's Special Events entrance on Constitution Avenue. You will also go through security screening when you enter the building.

William J. Bosanko is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Prior to this appointment, he served as NARA's Executive for Agency Services. Mr. Bosanko served as the Director of the Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO) from January 2008 to March 2011 where he was responsible for overseeing the government-wide security classification system and the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Mr. Bosanko began his career with NARA in February of 1993, first as an Archives Technician and later as an Archivist, working on NARA's Special Access and FOIA Staff and NARA's Records Declassification Division. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Susquehanna University (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania).
